ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - Treatment
Andalucía Health takes a holistic view, looking at the relationship between the mind, body and spirit.
Exercise has been proofed to help a lot. Exercise, especially self defense sports and martial arts, have done wonders. Therefore physical exercise plays a key role in our program.
The idea is that physical activity reduces anxiety, aggression, sleeplessness and selfstimulatory behaviours. The theory also asserts that by gaining control over their bodies, children learn to cooperate and coordinate efforts with other children. This is a way for them to develop social and communication skills.
Studies has proofed that nutrition plays a main role in ADHD, hence we educate parents about nutrition and tell them, which kinds of "food" they never ever, in no circumstances, should give their children.
What a visit to Andalucía Health involves?
After parents of children with ADHD contact us we will give them an appointment. To give our patients the best service we avoid long waiting periods, that's why we are trying to make the appointments very close to the time when we were contacted for the first time.
Prior to the treatment there will be a consultation with the parents and their child. During this consultation there will be an examination. We will work out a treatment plan according to the results of this consultation. In addition to the treatment we will work out a nutritional plan, designed to the special needs of each patient.
The treatment usually contains 6 to 8 sessions of cupping, according to each patients needs. Sometimes it may require a few sessions more.
Ideally, the therapy extends 6 to 8 weeks, with one treatment per week. But if needed, the therapy can be cut down to 2 weeks with a treatment every other day.
We may include acupuncture treatments if needed.
If you are interested in a treatment with us, please contact us at email@example.com, we will return to you in the shortest time possible.
Please note: The fee of the treatment is negotiable. Feel free to make an offer.
